Betty (R.N.) SMITH

Betty (R.N.) Smith passed away peacefully, in the comfort of her home, on Sunday, April 5, 2026, at the age of 75. She was the cherished mother of Evan Smith. Betty will be fondly remembered by many dear friends, especially Myrna Harley, as well as her beloved companion, Molly. She was predeceased by her parents Nelson and Margaret (nee McDonnell) Smith, sister Barbara Cupolo, and childhood friend Janice Harrison. Friends are invited to join the family at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTRE, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines, visiting Sunday, April 12, 2026, from 4 to 6 pm. Vigil prayers will be held at 5 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, April 13, 2026, at 1 pm at Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church. Cremation will follow with the Rite of Committal at a later date in Fairview Cemetery, Niagara Falls. In memory of Betty, memorial contributions may be made to The MS Society of Canada (Niagara Chapter) or Therapy Tails Ontario, and would be appreciated.
