Attilio Marcella

Attilio Marcella passed away on July 5, 2026, at the age of 85, surrounded by his family at home. Born on August 3, 1940, in Farindola, Italy, he was the beloved husband of Antonietta for 51 years and cherished father of Claudia and Giancarlo. He was a proud Nonno to Maya, Luca, Camila, and Vienna. Attilio was predeceased by his parents Raffaelo and Maria Domenica, and his parents-in-law Vito and Amerizia. He will be dearly missed by his brother Benito, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Tina and Natale, and his siblings in Italy. Attilio is survived by his loving family, including his wife, children, grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. The family is grateful for the care and compassion provided by the nurses and support workers from SE Health and ParaMed during his final days. Visitation will be held at George Darte Funeral Home on July 9, 2026, with Vigil Prayers at 3:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on July 10, 2026, at St. Alfred's Church, followed by entombment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Parkinson Canada.
