Antonio Araujo

Antonio Araujo, born on October 17, 1934, passed away on August 26, 2026, at the age of 91. He is survived by his beloved wife, Maria Araujo, and their children: Antonio Alberto (Corinne), Leonor (Erich), and Dennis (Rosie). Antonio was a proud grandfather to Mark (Stephanie), Louise (Nick), Emily, Elisha, Megan, Lauren, and Nicole, and a cherished great-grandfather to Bennett and Bella. Visitation took place on August 30, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at George Darte Funeral Home, with a prayer service from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM. A funeral service was held on August 31, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Alfred Church, followed by burial at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Kevin's Catholic Church in Welland.
