Ann Charbonneau

Ann Charbonneau of Chatham, Ontario passed away on August 15, 2026. She was predeceased by her parents, Gordon and Margaret Charbonneau, her husband Herman DeWael, her stepson Randy DeWael (Robin), and her siblings Noreen Montenko (late Gerry) and Bob Charbonneau. She is survived by her nephew Allan Montenko (Jane) and her nieces Sheryl Blatz (Terry), Judy Tulp (Ernie) and Maryann Hornick. Visitation was held on August 19, 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on August 20, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at McKinlay Funeral Home – Chatham, 459 St Clair St, Chatham, ON N7L 3K6. A funeral service took place on August 20, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location, followed by burial at Maple Leaf Cemetery later that day. The family requests donations in her memory to the Chatham‑Kent Hospice Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
