Alex MARIS

Alex Maris passed away peacefully, in the presence of family in St. Catharines on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the age of 92. He was the beloved husband of 60 years to Voula. Alex was the cherished father of Aki, and the treasured Papi of granddaughters Natasha and Nicole. He was the adored Papou to great-grandchildren Amelia and Reid. Alex is deeply missed by siblings Giorgio, Despina, Alessandra, Angelo, and Paul, plus other relatives and loved ones around the world. The family will gather privately for the committal service at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Friends are invited to attend a traditional Greek reception from 2 - 5 p.m. on Monday, June 29, 2026, at Meadowvale Green. Flowers are gratefully declined, and donations in memory of Alex may be directed to Niagara Foundation Fund Allocation of Palliative Care. Arrangements are entrusted to Considerate Cremation & Burial Services.
