Predeceased by her parents, Danilo Zapata Cruz and Maria Edhel Valencia, her siblings Jorge Mario and Sara Valentina, and her nephew Daniel, Alejandra is survived by her three sons—Samuel, Danilo and Juan Ignacio—and her grandchildren Ariana, Nico and Remi, as well by extended family and many friends. A funeral service was held on Monday, August 24, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines, ON L2M 4Y1.
