Edna Elizabeth RATCLIFF

Edna Elizabeth Ratcliff passed away on December 4, 2024, in her 94th year. She is survived by her children, Jerry and Maureen, Brian and Ellen, and Luanne, as well as her grandchildren, Michelle and Steve, Glenn and Evie, and great-grandchildren, Sophie, Theo, and Tessa. She is also survived by her siblings, Glen and Pat Byer, Joyce and Bruce McDowell, Muriel and Doug Hoover, and Leila and Pat Normally. Edna was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Lillian Byer, and her former husband, David Ratcliff. Born on her parents' farm in Atha, Ontario, Edna attended Atha Public School, Stouffville High School, and Canada Business College in Toronto, graduating in seven months. She fostered for the Children's Aid Society of Toronto, caring for 26 children over five years, and later worked at the CIBC Stouffville until her retirement in 1995. Edna was an original member of Youth for Christ and a life member of the Stouffville Horticultural Society.
