John Hans Rowan of Ancaster, Ontario, passed away on July 31, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on May 31, 1935, John Hans was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Frieda; his children, Ron Rowan (Cathy) and Ingrid Thompson (Kevin); his grandchildren, Dennis, Andrea (Cailen), and Rachel (Kevin); and his great-grandchildren, Braydon, Bradley, Maggie, and Madeleine. John Hans will be remembered for his kindness and the warmth he brought to those around him. His legacy of connections and shared experiences will remain in the hearts of family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph's Villa Foundation in Dundas.
