John DOUGLAS

John Douglas, a devoted father, brother, and accomplished professional, passed away peacefully at Wentworth Lodge in Dundas, Ontario, on May 27, 2026, at the age of 82. Born on November 2, 1943, in Hebburn, Newcastle upon Tyne, England, John was the son of Mary Douglas. He began his career as an apprentice draftsman in 1960 and later immigrated to Canada in 1967, where he held various roles at several companies. John is survived by his daughter, Alison, and his sisters, Elizabeth and Barbara. He was predeceased by his mother, Mary, and his brother, Douglas Savage. The family extends their gratitude to the staff at St. Joseph's Hospital and Wentworth Lodge for their care and to his friend Marilynn Havelka for her support.
