David "Dave" Wilson MCVEY

David Wilson McVey (Dave) died suddenly at home on June 13, 2026, in his 73rd year. Born in Toronto in 1953, Dave was a proud Torontonian at heart and an unwavering supporter of his beloved Toronto Argonauts. He was proud of his Scottish heritage and loved all animals, especially his cat Nina. Dave was predeceased by his parents and is survived by his wife Deborah, daughter Laura, brother John, and sisters Mary, Jean, and Ann, as well as an extended family of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins from the Cruickshank, Kidd, and White families. A service will be held at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Ancaster on July 11, 2026, at 11 a.m., with a livestream available on the church's YouTube channel. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hamilton SPCA or Mission Services Hamilton would be appreciated by the family.
