Mario Zecchini

Mario Zecchini passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 19, 2026, in Hamilton, Ontario, at the age of 92. Born on September 9, 1933, in Spilimbergo, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Italy, Mario was the beloved son of Gemma Lenarduzzi and Olinto Zecchini. He was predeceased by his brothers Derino, Ivano, and Sergio, and is survived by his brother Elio. Mario is also survived by his devoted wife, Maxine Morris-Zecchini; his children, Carla and Marc; his stepdaughters Carla and Kelly; and his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, cousins, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him, including his beloved cat, Tiger. Visitation will be held on April 23rd at Dodsworth & Brown Funeral Home in Ancaster, and a Funeral Mass will be held on April 24th at St. Ann Parish in Ancaster, followed by a Celebration of Life at The Venetian Club in Hamilton.
