Lenore YARDLEY (nee Whitehouse)

Lenore Yardley (nee Whitehouse) passed away peacefully on May 24, 2026, at the age of 97, surrounded by the love of her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold, in 2007, after 55 years of marriage. Lenore was the dear mother of Ray and Anne, Cheryl and Don Mahar, Pam and Brad, and Wayne and Angie. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including Darryl and Melissa, Bianca and Emerson, Ryan and Ashley, Payton and Austin, Michelle, Scott and Dee, Parker and Nessa, Jen, Katy and Mikaela, Kelvin and Heather, Lochlan and Arwyn, Kevin and Stephanie, Kyle and Amy, Dave and Alanna, Conor and Shea, Nathan and Brittany, Dillon, and Braden. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Lenore's good friend Pat and her caregivers at Home, Juravinski F5, and St. Peter's Palliative Care 3rd Floor. Interment has taken place. A visitation to celebrate her life will be held at Dodsworth and Brown Ancaster Chapel on Wednesday, May 27th from 3 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Matthew's House, St. Peter's Hospital, or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
