He is survived by his wife Gwen, his son Nick, his brother Nick Giswein and sister‑in‑law Mary, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends including Ken Milner, Brad and Lynn Shepley, and his caregiver Tiffany of Ontario Health. The family welcomes donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Windsor/Essex County Humane Society in his memory.
