Dan Di Pierdomenico

Dan Di Pierdomenico passed away on May 25, 2026, at the age of 94. He is now reunited with his beloved wife Silvana DiPierdomenico. Dan was the awesome father of Lino DiPierdomenico and his wife Anita, and Clare Wiedmayer and her husband Tom. He was the adored Nonno of Kate Iles and her husband Trevor, Bianca DiPierdomenico, Luke Wiedmayer and his wife Armani, and Jordan Wiedmayer. Dan was also a Bis-Nonno to Owen Iles. He was the son of the late Clementina and Pasquale DiPierdomenico. Dan was predeceased by his sisters Gilda Scipione and her husband Victor, and Lucia Federico and her husband Corrado, as well as his brother-in-law Antonio Federico. He is survived by his wife Betty Federico, and his sister-in-law Maria Bucci and her husband Donato. Dan is also survived by his treasured nieces and nephews. Born in Abbateggio, Italy, Dan arrived in Canada on July 1, 1948. He enjoyed gardening, making homemade pasta, and playing cards, particularly Euchre, with his friends at the Golden Age Club in Amherstburg. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation and the Canadian Cancer Society. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Families First Amherstburg. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, May 29, at St. John the Baptist Church, followed by a procession to St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
