Dale Andrew Simmons

Dale Andrew Simmons of Amherstburg, Ontario, passed away on August 18, 2026, at the age of 66. He was born on August 6, 1960. Dale was predeceased by his mother Verna and his siblings Douglas (married to Joyce) and Cheryl. He is survived by his father Bernard; his wife Kelly; his children Tyler Simmons (married to Laurie), Teri Simmons and Clay Annan; his grandchildren Talia Simmons and Kyron Annan; his siblings Marcia (widow of the late Calvin), Angela (married to Barry), Carolyn (married to Shawn), David (married to Ruth), Warren (married to Gayle), Anita (married to Ron) and Calvin (married to Tina); and his mother‑in‑law Sarah Huckaby, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. A viewing was held on Monday, August 24, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at James H. Sutton Funeral Home, 401 Sandwich St S, Amherstburg, ON N9V3K8, followed by a funeral service at the same location from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., and a burial at St. John the Baptist Cemetery from 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to the family.
