Anna (nee D'Ascanio) MENNA

Anna Menna, nee D'Ascanio, passed away on August 1, 2026, at the age of 95. She is now reunited with her beloved husband Rocco, who predeceased her in 2023. Anna was a loving mother to Mary and the late Romeo Faccenda, and Rose and Joe Capaldi. She was a devoted Nonna to Davide and Francine Faccenda, Stefania and Luc Blanchard, Adam and Dragana Faccenda, Sara and David Di Ponio, and Eric and Leslie Faccenda. Anna was also a dear Bis-Nonna to Romeo, Sofia, Nino, Evangeline, Julia, Mina, Marcello, Camillo, Leonardo, and Ariel. She was predeceased by her parents, Francesco and Concetta D'Ascanio, and her siblings Mariuccia, Angiolina, Antonietta, and Pietro. Anna will be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews, family, and friends in Canada, the USA, Belgium, and Italy. Throughout her life, Anna worked at various jobs, including making car parts at Car Steel in Windsor and dedicating many years to Reflex/Windsor Plastics. She enjoyed gathering with friends to play scopa, crocheting, and tending to her garden with her late husband. Anna was an avid cook and baker, renowned for her delicious meals and pastries, particularly her famous Sponge Cake. The family would like to express their gratitude to the caregivers and staff at Richmond Terrace.
