Wilmer Lawson

Wilmer Lawson of Alliston, Ontario, passed away on October 2, 2026, at the age of 96. He was born on September 4, 1930, to Milton and Violet Lawson (Orvis) and was predeceased by his sister, Mae Lewis. Wilmer is survived by his beloved wife, Norma, and their children: Bryan (Ingrid) of Lisle, Cindy Stephens (Jerry) of Alliston, and Julie Cunningham of Moncton, NB. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Ryan, Christopher, Thomas, Leah, and Laura, as well as his great-grandchildren, Jacob, Carly, Aiden, Campbell, Julia, Keira, Daniel, and Ethan. Visitation will take place on Monday, October 5, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM, both at Thomas Funeral Home, located at 244 Victoria St E, Alliston, ON L9R1K4. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children Canada, the Masonic Foundation of Ontario (memo: Project 2616), or a charity of choice.
