Rosemary Dorothy Farrugia

The family announces the passing of Rosemary Dorothy Farrugia of Alliston, Ontario, who departed this life on October 12, 2026, at the age of 79. Rosemary is survived by her beloved husband, John Joseph Farrugia, and her children, Leeanne (Larry), Johnny (Carol), Michael, and Joseph. She was a proud grandmother to Cedar, Juneau, Asa, Avery Rose, Noah, Ella, and Simone. Rosemary is also remembered by her siblings, David, Sheila, George, Nicola, Jill, John, and Ruth, as well as her sisters-in-law, Mary Farley and Eileen Long. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph Gibson and Doreen Gibson (Brabazon). Rosemary was cherished by her nieces, nephews, numerous friends, and her pets. Visitation took place on Sunday, October 18, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Drury Funeral Centre, located at 519 Victoria St E, Alliston, ON L9R1K1. A funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, October 19, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, situated at 4781 Concession Rd 5, Alliston, ON L9R1K1. Following the Mass, a reception was held at 12:15 PM at St. Paul the Apostle Church, located at 190 King St S, Alliston, ON L9R1B9. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Matthews House Hospice.
