RICHARD CHARLES LEWIS

Richard 'Rick' Lewis passed away peacefully on March 19, 2026, at the age of 88, following a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of the late Patricia Lewis, with whom he shared more than 50 years of marriage. Rick was a devoted father to Douglas Lewis and his wife Cynthia, and Paul Lewis and his wife Christine. He was a proud and loving grandfather to Alexandra, Bradley and his wife Tori, Scott, Sydney, and Riley, and a great-grandfather to Parker and Austin. Born in England to Charles and Margaret Lewis, Rick was raised in Toronto and lived in Etobicoke, Pottageville, Alliston, and Barrie. He enjoyed a long and successful career in sales and had a deep appreciation for life's simple pleasures, including golf, hockey, skiing, and travel. Rick cherished time at the cottage, spending over 70 years creating memories at Koshlong Lake in Haliburton. He was predeceased by his wife Patricia. A Celebration of Life will be held on May 27, 2026, from 2pm-4pm at Thomas Funeral Home in Alliston. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rick's memory may be made to Matthews House Hospice.
