Laura Traynor, a resident of Alliston, Ontario, passed away on August 18, 2026, at the age of 76. Born on November 14, 1949, she was predeceased by her parents, Stephen and Christina McDonnell, and her brother Brendan. Laura is survived by her husband John, her daughter Jean, her sisters Rita Healy (Eamon) and Stephanie Byrne (Albert), and her granddaughter Olivia Bittman. She also leaves behind her dedicated caregivers, Melissa, Megan, Rolly, and Nicole. A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Drury Funeral Centre, located at 519 Victoria St E, Alliston, ON L9R1K1. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation or Matthews House Hospice in her memory.
