Jean Madeline Mawby

Jean Madeline Mawby of Alliston, Ontario, passed away on July 27, 2026, at the age of 88. She was born on September 3, 1937. Predeceased by her parents, Fred and Edie Robinson of Potter's Bar, and her brother Alan Robinson, she is survived by her husband Raymond Mawby, her sons Philip Mawby of Saint John, New Brunswick, and Richard Mawby of Alliston, as well as her grandchildren Brittney Frazer, Haley Jean Mawby, Ashley Best, Adam Ray Mawby and Sophia Mawby, and great‑grandchildren Ariella, Milo and Owen. Several nieces and nephews also survive her. A memorial service was held on Friday, July 31, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Drury Funeral Centre, 519 Victoria Street East, Alliston, ON. Contributions in her memory may be directed to Matthews House Hospice in Alliston or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
