CATHERINE MELDRUM ENGLISH

Catherine Meldrum English, nee Renwick, passed away on February 24, 2026, in her 94th year. Born on January 26, 1932, she grew up on Centre Island and later moved to Wards Island, where she raised her family. She then resided in Alderwood, enjoying the close-knit community. Predeceased by her husband, Thomas, and her son, Tom. Survived by her son, Dan; daughters, Cathie (Mike) and Paula (Scott); and grandchildren, Courtney, Ryan, Danielle, Gregory, Caitlyn, and Jaclyn. Friends are invited to celebrate her life at Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W., Etobicoke, on Saturday, February 28, 2026. Visitation will be held from 2:00–4:00 p.m. and 5:00–6:00 p.m., with a service beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trillium Health Partners.
