Helen Bates (nee LESAICHUK), born on June 24, 1928, passed away on February 2, 2026, at the age of 97. She was married to James (predeceased) for 59 years. They had three children, Marlene (Ken Leger), Richard (predeceased) (Jill) and Deborah (Joseph Conforti). Family and friends are invited to Alderwood United Church on February 7, 2026, for visitation from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., funeral service at 1:00 p.m., followed by a reception. Burial will take place at Park Lawn Cemetery on Monday, February 9th at 11:30 a.m.
