The family announces the passing of Maxine Reid in Ajax, Ontario, on October 9, 2026, at the age of 83. Born on June 5, 1943, Maxine shared many moments and relationships throughout her life. She was predeceased by her parents, Mack Courtney and Merle Courtney. Maxine is survived by her son Bryce (Michelle), her sister Valerie, her nephew Tom (Suzanne), her niece Justine (Mark), and her grandchildren, Connor (Madison) and Caitlin. A funeral service was held on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Remember McEachnie Family Centre, located at 20 Church St N, Ajax, ON L1T2W5. Flowers are welcome.
