Luise Gebennus

The family announces the passing of Luise Gebennus in Ajax, Ontario, on October 12, 2026. Born on April 12, 1934, Luise was surrounded by many cherished relationships throughout her life. She is survived by her beloved spouse, Dietrich; her siblings, Renate, Ursula, Frances, and Walter; and her nieces and nephews, Sandy (Jim), Michael (Claudia), Susan (Brian), Harry (Susan), and Robert. Luise also leaves behind her great-nieces and great-nephews, Rebecca (Aaron), Kristina (Jason), Natalie (Dave), Caroline (Jake), Colin (Connor), Peter (Kayla), Martina (John), Katie (Josh), and Kyle (Veronica), as well as her great-grandchildren, Kai, Isla, Claire, Flynn, George, Seth, and Amelia. A funeral service was held on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Remember McEachnie Family Centre, located at 20 Church St N, Ajax, ON L1T2W5. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Oak Ridges Hospice in Port Perry will be appreciated by the family.
