Glenys Marie Barker

Glenys Marie Barker of Ajax, Ontario, passed away on August 27, 2026, at the age of 81. She was predeceased by her son Christopher Barker-Tonge, her parents Ernest and Glenys Roberts of Wales, and her sibling Hilary Williams. Glenys is survived by her husband Lawrence Barker, her daughter Sarah Osgoode (Stephen), and her siblings Heather Roberts (Anna Balaban), Gwyn Roberts (Ilinos), Linda Ellis (Aled), John W. Redburn (Lise), Court Redburn (Deborah), Adele Hazlitt (William), Mary Ellen Goucher (David), and Christopher Redburn, as well as her former husband Peter Tonge and many other family members and friends. Visitation will take place on September 10 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on September 11 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A funeral service will follow on September 11 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McEachnie Funeral Home Chapel, with burial at Pine Ridge Memorial Gardens. A celebration of life will be held later that day from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes are appreciated.
