David Julian Fernando

David Julian Fernando of Ajax, Ontario, passed away on September 8, 2026, at the age of 68. Born on May 19, 1958, David was a beloved figure to many, including his parents, Dodwell 'Doddy' Kingsley Clarence Fernando and Eustine Maude Fernando. He is survived by his daughters, Sue-Anne Fernando, Natalie Fernando, and Nicole Sewell, as well as his grandchildren: Jayden Fernando, Breyanna Fernando-Sewell, Tiyana Sewell, Alyssa Nolan, Omari Small Jr., Ayden Andersen, and Marlon Sewell Jr. David is also remembered by his sisters, Joanne Gunasinghe (Asitha Gunasinghe) and Rosalie Lord (Cleophas Lord), along with their families. Visitation will take place on Thursday, September 17, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at McEachnie Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church, followed by burial at Christ the King Cemetery on September 25, 2026.
